Please go through the below article to know more about the Playback and Player controls of Recorded Shows on the OmniGo App:


  • Once you have opened your Recorded show from the Recordings tab you will be redirected to Recorded Playback which is illustrated as in the below image.
  • For Recorded content playback, the following buttons are available in the player and each buttons are explained after the illustration:
  1. Play/Pause Button: The Play/Pause button will let the viewer to Pause/Resume the recorded video and the button is located in the exact centre of the Button Control tab.
  2. Fast and Slow Seeking buttons: We have enabled 2 seeking options depending on the seeking speed. The buttons which have forward and backward seek arrows are the Slow Seeking buttons and they seeks the content about 5 seconds at a time. The buttons labelled with 30 and 10 are Fast Seekers and it forwards the content 30 seconds and backwards content 10 seconds respectively.
  3. Back button: On clicking this button, the viewer will be taken back to the Recordings screen from the playback View. It is located in the extreme left of the Button control tab.
  4. Delete Button:This button let the user to delete the recorded content and it is located next to the back button. Once you click it, the Pop-Up will ask for the confirmation to delete the recorded content, and if you click OK, the recorded content will be deleted forever.
  5. Closed caption Button:  It displays/hides the closed captions/subtitles for the stream. Once you click this button, it will list the subtitles in various languages available and you can select the required language and the player will display the subtitles.
  6. Help Button: In case if you are facing any trouble to watch your recorded content, you can hit on the help button which is labelled with the question mark. Our friendly support team is available to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are able to assist you with any issues you came across on the app. If you click on the Help button the following window will pop-up as displayed below.You may report the issue of the current playback by clicking the "Something's wrong? Tell us." Once you have clicked on it, it will pop-up a window which lists some general issues as displayed below.You can report your issue using the check box or you can explain the issue in the comment box which is provided and submit to us. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is waiting to hear from you.                                                      The help button will also let the user to view the Playback stats that will reveal the recorded video quality parameters like view port resolution, stream resolution, stream bit rate, Video/Audio codecs, Your ISP's current bandwidth speed and the buffer rate. You can also reload the stream and close the stream with the help button.
  7. Volume Control Button: Volume control button is located next to the help button and it let the viewer to adjust the volume of the recorded content.
  8. Full Screen Button: It is located in the extreme right on the button control tab and it let the user to watch the recorded show in full screen mode.
