Please go through the below article to know more about the Playback and Player controls of Live Channels on the OmniGo App:


  • Once you have opened the Live Channel view from the Home screen you will be redirected to Live Playback which is illustrated in the below image. 
  • For Live Channels the following buttons are available in the player and each buttons are explained after the illustration:
  1. Play/Pause Button: The Play/Pause button will let the viewer to Pause/Resume the currently watching Live Stream and the button is located in the exact centre of the Button Control tab.
  2. Back Button: On clicking this button, the viewer will be taken to the Home screen from the Live View. It is located in the extreme left of the Button control tab.
  3. Grid Button: On enabling the grid button which is located right to the back button, the Button control tab will be replaced with the Quick Live channel tab from which you can easily move to the next channel. Quick Live channel tab will be displayed as below.
  4. Favourite button: Favourite button help the viewer to club their favourite channels  together on the Home screen. If you want to add the channel to the favourites, you can simply click on the favourite button.
  5. Subtitles button: It displays/hides the subtitles for the stream. Once you click this button, it will list the subtitles in various languages available and you can select the required language and the player will display the subtitles.
  6. Help Button: In case if you are facing any trouble to watch your live stream, you can hit on the help button which is displayed with the question mark. Our friendly support team is available to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are able to assist you with any issues you came across on the app. If you click on the Help button the following window will pop-up as displayed below.You may report the issue of the current playback by clicking the "Something's wrong? Tell us." Once you have clicked on it, it will pop-up a window which lists some general issues as displayed below.You can check your issue at the check box if it is displayed or you can explain the issue in the comment box which is provided and submit to us. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is waiting to hear from you.                                The help button will also let the user to view the Playback stats that will reveal the stream quality parameters like view port resolution, stream resolution, stream bit rate, Video/Audio codecs, Your ISP's current bandwidth speed and the buffer rate. You can also reload the stream and close the stream with the help button.
  7. Volume Control Button: Volume control button is located next to the help button and it let the viewer to adjust the volume of the channel.
  8. Full Screen Button: It is located in the extreme right on the button control tab and it let the user to watch the channels in full screen mode.
  • Apart from the above explained buttons, we have also integrated onscreen buttons to flip to the next or previous channels. These buttons are highlighted as Left and Right arrow buttons which will let the user to switch the channels back and forth respectively. The Onscreen buttons are illustrated as below and its highlighted with green boxes.
